Meeting Place

Who are we?

We are New Testament Christians and members of the church Jesus Christ purchased with his own blood.
Acts 20:28 “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”
Matthew 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

We seek authority from the word of God in our worship.
Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.””
2 Timothy 3:16,17 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Our goal is to worship God in spirit and truth.
John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

We sing psalms and hymns to the Lord from our hearts.
Ephesians 5:19 “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,”

We gather together on the first day of the week to share the Lords supper.
Acts 20:7 “Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.”

In the same way we share in the new covenant confirmed with the blood of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:25 “In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

We are here to build each other up (and you if you'll join us) in the most holy faith.
1 Thessalonians 5:10,11“who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. (11) Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

We strive for truth and understanding of our faith and salvation.
Jude 3 “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”

Salvation is a gift from God.
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”

The steps to Salvation

Hear the truth from the gospel.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”

Believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God and savior.
Ephesians 1:13 “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,”

Have faith in your savior.
John 8:24 “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

Repent of your sins.
Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,”

Confess your faith in the Lord Jesus.
Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Receive the promise in baptism.
Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 22:16 “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”

Then God expects you to live in obedience.
Romans 1:5 “Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,”
